If you follow our Youtube channel, you must have seen that our family spent the last few days of 2019 in Tagaytay. Little did everyone know that after a few weeks, January 12, 2020, to be exact, Taal volcano erupted. 🙁
Apart from that, there are many sad things that happened in other countries such as wildfire in Australia, Iran-US conflict and the death of the NBA Legend Kobe Bryant. And as of this writing, the world has declared the outbreak of the deadly virus called Novel Coronavirus. Those just happened in one month. 🙁
Okay, enough with the sad news.
In this post, let me share our short but joyful experience in Abagatan Ti Manila in Alfonso, Cavite. I wouldn’t know about this hidden sanctuary if not because of my sister-in-law who booked this hotel for the whole family. Thank you, Ate!
Our drive was smooth and took us 3 hours to reach Tagaytay. It was around past lunchtime so we decided to eat at Nanay Dorie’s Bulaluhan before heading to the hotel.
Abagatan Ti Manila is located at Amuyong – Kaytinga Road along E. Aguinaldo Hi-way and a few minutes away to Sky Ranch. Its impressive landscape welcomes you as you enter the hotel’s premises. It indeed brought a relaxing vibe!
Here is the Deluxe room (rate – P4,800) that fits 4 adults, 2 kids, and 1 baby. And that’s Cal, our youngest. 🙂 The room looks small but we were able to manage to have a good night’s sleep.
And here’s the bathroom.
It also has a shower area in which I wasn’t able to take a photo. My bad. Like any other bathroom hotel, it is filled with bath essentials such as dental kits, shower gels and etc. I appreciate they have their own outlets inside.
We had our dinner at Cafe Marco that specializes in unique and innovative international and Filipino cuisine. Afterward, we spent a couple of hours at the kids’ play area before we called it a day.
Like any other hotel which has function rooms, swimming pool, and gym, Abagatan Ti Manila has something more to offer – a lagoon park, indoor sports area, prayer room, greenhouse, clinic, and dormitories. How cool is that? Check them out on my vlogs below!
It was a beautiful morning when we woke up the next day. So after we had our buffet breakfast at Cafe Marco, we headed to the pool area. Oh boy, the water was freakin’ cold hahaha. But nevertheless, everybody had so much fun!
Of course, our hotel experience wouldn’t be complete without a family picture in the lagoon area!
