Vice Cosmetics is one of the local brands I have been meaning to try. One, because of the hype (na super ganda daw niya) and two, I like Vice Ganda. However, it took me a long time before I finally got these for myself. Nakapag release na sila ng ibang iba’t products, ngayon palang ako nakabili nung kit haha.

Vice Cosmetics Duo Finish Foundation

Vice Cosmetics Duo Finish Foundation in Kinesa (254php)

It is a dual finish powder that provides a medium to full coverage. It can be applied with a sponge or a brush, wet or dry. This powder promises to control oil, buildable and has blurring effects on the skin. There are 8 shades available to suit every skin tones. I got Kinesa, a honey beige shade for light skin.

Ingredients: Talc Mica, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Aqua (Water), Silica, Zinc Oxide, Octocrylene, Magnesium Stearate, Silica Dimethyl, Silylate. Polyglyceryl-2, Dipolyhdroxystearate, Ethylhexyl, Methoxycinnamate. BHT, Dimethicone, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane. Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyglycerin. May contain (+/-): Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 7749, CI 77492, CI 77499). Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985), Aluminum Hydroxide (CI 77002).

Packaging wise, I love that it is simple and girly. It is lightweight and comes with a sponge and a huge mirror. The powder is finely milled and smells nice. The application is smooth and easy. I used a sponge and a powder brush and both provide an airbrushed look. In addition, it was able to cover my pores which I’m really impressed about but didn’t fully cover my pimple scars and redness. Hence, a concealer is needed if you want more coverage. This lasts up to 4 hours before it requires a retouch, please note that I have super oily skin. If you have oily skin as I do, you can use a primer and a setting spray to keep your makeup last longer.

Vice Cosmetics Phenomenal Velvet Kit in Iteklavu (295php)

Getting two lip products for below 300php? That’s already a big WOW for a budgetarian mom like me. I chose Iteklavu, a dusty rose nude shade. The formula is creamy, highly-pigmented, and super easy to apply. I find its scent kind of weird, though. Or ako lang hehe.

Packed with Centella Asiatica (Cica), Rosemary, Chamomile flower and Licorice root extracts. Green Tea leaf and Chinese skullcap extracts serve as powerful antioxidants that help calm and soothe your lips.

I love that it feels comfortable and lightweight on the lips as if I’m not wearing any lip products. However, it may leave a stain after your meal because of its velvety texture. If reapplication is not an issue, this is the perfect lip kit for you.
