What’s in the newest Daiso Japan Cherry Blossom-Inspired Flagship Store?

The first time I encountered Daiso Japan Store is when I was in Japan way back in 2009.

It became my instant favorite because all of their items only costs 100 yen (50 pesos). They have a wide selection of products, from clothes, household necessities, beauty items and many more. Since then, it became my go-to shop whenever I need something and even have bought some pasalubong for my loved ones.

Kaya tuwang tuwa ako when they decided to open their first store in the Philippines last April 29, 2009. There is no need to book a flight to Japan to visit Daiso because most of the popular malls already have it.

Anyway, last September 21, I was one of the bloggers who witnessed the opening of Daiso Japan newest flagship store at the 3F of Robinsons Galleria, Quezon City. In addition, we also had a bento-making workshop with mommy blogger Lourdes Vindollo-Labii (Nanay’s Lunches with Love). We were able to try out Daiso Japan’s adorable bento boxes and accessories. Mommy Lourdes shared some basics of bento making and for someone who has zero knowledge (like myself), learning them is a big achievement. I can’t wait to make bento for my son!

The newest flagship outlet offers a fresh store design which takes inspiration from the lovely Japanese flower, the Sakura or cherry blossom.

The store’s pink accents perfectly complement the cute and functional items on display. Which range from home and kitchen essentials to stationery products, all quirky collections that promise quality, variety, and uniqueness.

Among the brand’s kawaii items, Daiso Japan also introduced a line of Hello Kitty-themed products and surprised us with a visit by the well-loved Japanese icon herself, Hello Kitty!

Of course, I didn’t leave the store without getting some items for myself!
