How do we do that, though? You do not need to do anything drastic, like trading in your gray car for a bright yellow one. There are small things you can do to brighten up your life and your surroundings. Colors invoke certain moods and feelings from us, so surrounding yourself with all these hues is the perfect way to invigorate your mind. Here are just a few ways you can do that.

The easiest way to add some pops of color into your life is with accessories. This could mean anything from stylish jewelry to very beautiful iPhone cases. Small items that you either have with you all or most of the time, or that you can change out whenever you choose, are great ways to incorporate new colors into your style. Whether you get a cute phone case, a new bright purse, or even some vivid hair dye, accessorizing is a great way to go.

Everyone has a favorite shirt, or a color they prefer to wear. If you want to expand your horizons, consider the fashion arena first. You can easily sort through your current wardrobe and get rid of or donate some old, plain clothes, and then begin to add some new shades to your clothing. If you tend to wear dark shades, look for brighter hues for a new adventure – try reds and oranges for fall. Clothes come in so many colors, you can easily add new fashions from the whole rainbow and beyond.

If you already have a lot of rainbow brights in your clothing and accessories collections and want to focus on bringing variety into your lifestyle, consider an adult coloring book. If you are more of a “go big or go home” kind of person, consider painting your walls, or even just a single wall – accent walls are incredibly popular. Against a neutral room, a teal or magenta accent will give the space a whole new atmosphere! Accent walls and painting are a big step, but they are guaranteed to make your life brighter.
