Here is an in-depth review of Focallure Your Favors 18 Eyeshadow Palette in Neutrals and Bright Lux.
Hello, again ladies and welcome to another makeup review! I don’t usually buy or use makeup made from China but these palettes by Focallure made me do it because of their good reviews online. Beauty gurus, even my fellow Professional Makeup Artists recommend these as budget-friendly and good quality eyeshadow palettes.
Would you believe each palette costs below 300 pesos? Yup, I purchased these via Shopee for 288 pesos each. I know it sounds too good to be true. Also, the fact that it is made from China makes me want to back out. But being a makeup junkie, I won’t let this hype passed without trying these eyeshadow palettes myself.
I ordered these palettes all the way from China. It came after 3 weeks and I was impressed that they were securely packaged with a box and so many bubble wraps. Even the box itself was covered by plastic too. And when you open, there is another some sort of a cardboard that covers the eyeshadow palette. I was very happy that my palettes arrived without any damage!
The overall packaging looks pretty nice with its black and rose gold accent.
The palette is made of high-quality cardboard and doesn’t look cheap. At the back of the box, there is the description, ingredients, barcode, also the batch number, and expiration date. Net weight is 63oz/18g.

I’m not sure why they have different ingredients. Hmmm.
“Neutrals” Palette consists of 8 matte and 19 shimmer shades of brown tones and a single berry shade. Meanwhile, “Bright Lux” has 7 shimmers and 11 mattes of orange, berries and gold shades. My personal favorite is Bright Lux since it has more fun colors to play with. Others say it is a dupe for Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette.
Based on the swatches, it is a mix of good and not-so-good eyeshadows in terms of pigmentation. Most of the shadows have a creamy formula and some with fallouts, most especially on foiled eyeshadows (Chill, Glamping, Ruby, Gold Mine). I don’t mind though, because they are so beautiful and fun to play with! Those matte dark shades (Wine, Teddy, Terracotta, Toffee) are also my favorites as they are opaque and blend easily. On the other hand, light shimmer shades (Pale Pink, Crystal, Moonlight) are great as highlights!
Tip: Use an eyeshadow primer so your eye makeup will stay all day! Below are my sample eye makeup looks using the two palettes. What do you think?
Overall, these palettes are must-try! If I have to choose, that would the Bright Lux palette since I have other nude palettes in my collection. I highly recommend these for makeup beginners/makeup junkies who want to practice their skills yet doesn’t want to spend so much money on eyeshadow palettes.
Have you tried these palettes? Let me know in the comments!
