The last quarter of the year is the busiest season for a makeup artist like me. Parties and weddings are everywhere. For this month of December, I have makeup bookings almost every weekend, including Sundays. I have never been this busy before but I feel so thankful and blessed for all the opportunities I have received this year.
But despite our busy schedule, Hubby and I always make sure to spend quality time with our 2-year old son, Cloud. Tired of the same old routine? Let me share some fun activities you can do with your family!
Stargazing
Summer is the ideal season for stargazing. Also, you don’t have to be an expert to do this with your kids. This activity could be a lot of fun but the most important thing is, you help your child to appreciate the beauty of the night sky. It is also a great activity to introduce to them about stars and constellations or find out which planet is in the sky. Things you will need: a blanket to lie down, a binocular (if there’s any), flashlight and a current night sky map.
Treasure Hunting
Challenge your kids to solve clues and mysteries that will lead to a great prize hiding around the house. This activity gives your kids something to focus on and be excited about.
Cooking Class
Share your passion for food by attending a cooking class with your child. Learn a new recipe and together, experiment and enjoy yourselves being in the kitchen. They can also learn their way around the kitchen, safety practices and many more.
Go Online
Rainy days mean staying at home. But that doesn’t stop you not to have fun at all. There are so many things you can do online such as binge-watching your favorite series on Netflix or playing online games. Don’t forget your popcorn to enjoy these activities even more!
Explore new places
This is my personal favorite since Hubby and I love to travel. Apart from that, traveling with the whole family can break away from stress and routine. Moreover, studies show that family vacations can improve family communication and bonding. Best of all, seeing new places together and share experiences create memories that will be recalled and cherished later on.
