As a start, let me share my thoughts about 3D Augmented Reality Smart Book Dino. This was sent over together with Marbotic Smart Numbers by Kidoozi. It’s a convenient online shop by two busy millennial moms with a shared purpose of making shopping for kids easier and a lot more fun. They have become part of our learning journey ever since we got them. Cloud loves them a lot!
3D Augmented Reality Smart Book Dino (P700.00)
This book unfolds dinosaur stories going back 150 million years with 3D augmented reality – a technology that brings virtual reality to the real world. It is an excellent smart educational tool that has been used as cutting-edge educational contract across the world.
Living dinosaurs appear in 3D when you point your smartphone or tablet PC at the book.
Requirements for smart terminals: Android version 2.2 or higher, iOS Version 4.3 or higher
How to install the free app:
- Search for and download EVO DINO at Google Play or App Store.
- Open the book and click EVO DINO on your smart terminal.
- Point your smart terminal camera at the book and the dinosaurs will to life and move.
- With the joystick button, experience and observe the dinosaurs while moving and feeding them however you like.
This book unveils great information about dinosaurs. Get to know their history, classifications, characteristics, abilities and etc. And the most exciting part is, experience them through augmented reality.
Move and feed the dinosaurs however you like.
You can also take and saves a photo and email it to your friends. You can hear them growl, examine their body parts and many more!
What I like about 3D Augmented Reality Smart Book Dino:
- Definitely educational and entertaining for kids and kids at heart.
- Reasonably priced for P700 with the FREE app since you can use it for a long time. However, note that it’s like an ordinary book so be careful not to damage each page so it can last longer.
- You can enjoy the book itself or with a smartphone (3D Augmented Reality).
- The app is very easy to install and navigate.
- You can purchase online and send it straight to your doorstep.
Things I don’t like? None so far.
Overall, it is nice to have this book where you could learn and have fun at the same time. My 2-year old son enjoys using the app so much. I’m glad that he doesn’t find it scary at all. I even find myself reading each page because this reminds me of the movie, Jurassic Park.
