MakeUp Artist Life: Pre Engagement Shoot at Pinto Art Museum, Antipolo

HELLO! That was me trying the “sakit ang ulo” (headache) pose lols.

A dear friend of mine is getting married on April and hired me as her makeup artist.Β As if she has a choice hahaha. Precious and I have been friends for 10 years and we see each other once in a while to catch up. I’ve been through a lot in the past and Precious is one of those people who chose to stay. Oops, cut the drama! But Pre, thanks for the friendship!
So a few weeks ago, we went to Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo for their pre-engagement / prenup shoot. I was super excited because I’ve been meaning to visit this museum for the longest time. I’ve seen this in so many prenup shoots and it’s very very beautiful. What more seeing them with my two eyes. I can’t wait!

I’m from Quezon City and it took me almost two hours to get there. Our initial plan was to do the preparation inside their car so I didn’t bring my whole setup. I just packed the things I really need and slid them inside a clear makeup bag. I finally arrived at 12 in the afternoon and went straight ahead to museum’s al fresco cafe for our sumptuous lunch. Our prenup schedule was from 1 to 6 pm.Β
Cafe Rizal in Pinto Art Museum

Cafe Rizal is located inside the museum that offers Filipino and Italian dishes.

It’s an open area so you can enjoy the cool breeze coming from the outside. The ambiance is perfect. Neat and very relaxing.

The food is a bit pricey, thoughΒ (which isn’t surprising). The pork bagnet and pasta costs around P400+ each. But let me say this, they taste really good. One serving can be shared by two. They have accommodating staffs. Great ambiance. For me, still reasonable. And most importantly, you get to experience enjoying good food in the middle of nature’s beauty. How cool is that?Β

So this is the preparation room which included in the Photoshoot Package (P7500). I have no ring light with me but thankfully, this huge window was very helpful when I did her makeup. Though I highly suggest bringing your ring light for backup purposes (especially when it is getting dark outside). The room is air conditioned and got enough space for the whole team.Β

The photoshoot started around 230pm. Meanwhile, I gave myself a quick tour and took some photos. Please note that I will be sharing only 1/4 of the premises and mostly outdoors. I won’t bombard you with photos but I highly encourage you to visit this beautiful place with yourΒ family. Β So enjoy!

It feels like I was somewhere in Greece without my passport. This place is really amazing and I can’t wait to bring my family here for a tour.Β
