Paddle / Oval Brush (Demo + Review)
Hello dearies! You definitely heard about this oval brush a.k.a. paddle brush that beauty junkies raving about. The craze started last year but just last month I got a hand of it during my Divisoria shopping. Yes, I cannot afford (or should I say, I do not want) to buy its original version that costs 2,000php from MAC or Anastasia Beverly Hills. I believe you can also find one at Etude House for 500php below. Glad I found this 200-peso paddle brush because it is truly a game changing in my foundation routine.
The paddle brush is made with plastic which is perfect to carry in your purse. Smaller than a spoon and has a perfect curved-body for a better grip while using. What I love about is its densely-packed bristles that are super soft. It has a rounded smooth surface which did not aggravate nor irritate my sensitive (acne-prone) skin.
At first I was too skeptical about the reviews not until I tried it myself.
To use the brush, simply put a generous amount of liquid foundation and gently swipe it in an outward motion. Repeat the step until you get the coverage you desired.
For this demo, I used the L’oreal True Match Liquid Foundation in G2 which perfectly suits my complexion.
The brush blends the foundation smooth and gives me a flawless finish!
In terms of cleaning, you can wash this brush with baby shampoo and air dry for 2 days. I’m impressed that it doesn’t shed after 2 washes.
If you want your foundation routine quick and precise without messing your fingers. Believe me, you got to try this paddle brush!
Aside from Divisoria, you can also find this brush online in Facebook, Instagram or Shopee App.
