Nothing fancy about the packaging. They are enclosed in a plastic tube casing and comes with a doe foot applicator. What I don’t like is the sweet chemical scent which I find really weird. A pungent smell.
Isododecane, C30-45 Alkyl Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Styrene/ Isoprene Copolymer, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Propylparaben. May contain CI45410, CI77891, CI15850, CI19140, CI77491, CI77499, CI42090.
They have a smooth and creamy formulation and surprisingly pigmented particularly D1 and D10. I find it easy to apply using its doe foot applicator. At first, it feels sticky and uncomfortable and takes for about 1 to 2 minutes to set. What really bothers me is the scent but thankfully it goes away once the product is set.
D1 Samantha is deep brown shade and looks perfect for special occasions.
D4 Sabrina is a dark purple with a slight hint of pink and patchy on the lips. Perfect shade both for daytime and nighttime look.
D10 Rhea, on the other hand, is a nude pink shade that is perfect for a fresh daytime look. You can also wear this at night if you want to pull off a dark smokey eye look.
If you are not that sensitive with the smell and its ingredients, you must definitely join the Matte in Detail bandwagon! Aside from they perform really good, they also have a great selection of shades. I heard they will be releasing a new set of gorgeous shades! So what are you waiting for?
