Hello dearies! I am saving this part because finding a venue is the most stressful part of organizing your own party.
I’m pretty sure mommies will agree with me. There are lots of good venues out there, but for a tight budget, you might need at least 6 months preparation looking for the best venue that would perfectly fit your budget. I found One Cafe and Events Place around July 2015 (Cloud was 6 months then) while browsing at Girltalk forum (again!) and was able to visit for an ocular inspection last August or September. I fell in love with the place and immediately paid 5000php to reserve our event date. If you want to see this place in bare condition, you may click here.
One Cafe and Events Place is one of the “best” venue and catering in a “budgetarian” way lols. We hit two birds in one stone. Ideally, you will spend roughly 10,ooophp for a decent venue plus the catering. But in OCEP, the venue is for FREE if you will avail their in-house catering which is a good deal.
Hubby and I both agreed since I read good reviews by some of their previous clients.
We had our food tasting last November and I could say that their food tastes good, that’s why we really had a hard time choosing what to include for the event’s menu. We also discussed our preferences on how to decorate the venue based on our theme. For your information, they also offer venue styling at an affordable price. I must say that I have no problems coordinating with them. Ms. Wheng is easy to approach and answered all my queries fast and reliable.
So come the event date, tadaaaan!
Looks like the happiest place on Earth!
Design-wise, they exceeded my expectations. For the background music, I just brought my laptop and connected to their basic sound system.

They all taste good but my favorites are Fish Fillet in Plum Tomato Sauce and their Spaghetti Sweet Style in their kid’s menu.

The candy buffet sells like hot pancakes. Everyone loved it!
Overall, we did not go wrong in choosing One Cafe and Events. The location is accessible, the venue is perfect for big and small groups, the staff were attentive during the event, the food was delicious and most of all, affordable. What more could I ask for? They are definitely highly recommended!

So now let us move on and talk about Host Erney Arcilla.
I commend him for being such a good performer. Everyone understands him very well for his good diction. I love that he prepared something both for the kids and adults to enjoy. His games were really fun and entertaining. I also find his magic tricks unique and amazing. Even myself was amazed by his magic coloring book lols. He also made sure that all kids participated in every game and had their own toys and prizes. NO DULL MOMENTS! I asked some of the guests if they enjoyed the program and they said YES! And that’s important to us. All the months of preparation are all worth it!

What fun!! Birthday party planning can be a bit stressful. We just finished up with my seven year old's lego themed birthday party that we had at our home. I try to do it some place else usually so I don't have all the clean up afterward. This looks like a lot of fun. I love the theme too!
