For the second time, I was invited by OpenRice PH for another gastronomical experience with my fellow bloggers in the amid busy streets of Quezon City. Choobi Choobi is a Cebu-based restaurant that offers Filipino dishes with a twist. They are known in serving seafoods such as shrimps and mussels in a bag which all the way from their utilized farm in Cebu.
Lingaw means to entertain/enjoy and kaon is to eat.

Choobi Choobi in Quezon City |
In an instant, I fell in love with their modern industrialized design. The place is spacious and perfect for big groups. They also have a television on the wall to keep their guests entertained while waiting for their food to be served. I also appreciate their good lighting since I have poor eyesight lols.
They also have a mini bar for some who would like alcoholic beverages with 5 to 7% alcohol content.

I must say, that all of these tastes good! I love the Grilled Stuffed Squid because of its sweet-blend sauce, second is the Choobi Pata, it was indeed crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside plus its tasteful! My last favorite but not the least, of course, you will never go wrong with their Shrimp in a Bag in Salty Egg!
You will definitely taste the salty egg experience in the shrimps, you might order extra rice to satisfy your cravings.
Overall, we really had a sumptuous lunch! Since they offer a wide variety of food choices, everybody is welcome to dine in. Price-wise, affordable and one meal can be shared by 2 or more people. Apart from that, their vast place is perfect for big groups like a family dinner or even parties. They also have enough parking space outside the restaurant.
Choobi Choobi is located at 102 Panay Ave., Diliman Quezon City.

Wow, I didn't know Cebu-based pala ang Choobi-Choobi. Actually, I haven't even tried dining there yet. My boyfriend is vegetarian kasi so it's quite hard to look for restaurants na gusto ko at meron syang makakain. Haha!

You had me at "good lighting". Hahaha. I cannot eat with dim lights (not that I have poor eyesight which is true at 5.00 anyhow). Bad lighting is just unappetizing for me. 🙂
