Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick in Bang Bang (Swatch + Review)

Hello dearies! In today’s beauty post, I will be sharing another lip product from the brand Pink Sugar.

Pink Sugar was launched in the Philippines last year and they offer a wide variety of makeup products at an affordable price.  I was able to try them out when I received my November BDJ Elite Box – Sugar Spice and Everything Nice that was curated with Pink Sugar goodies. I was really happy because everything you need for creating a makeup look is already there. Pink Sugar can be found in most SM and Landmark Department Stores (click here for more details). You can also purchase it online at

Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick in Bang Bang

Dare to go bold with the Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick. With 10 semi-matte shades, you’re sure to find one that suits you. It adds drama to every pout without drying out your lips, due to its Vitamin E and Shea Butter content.

I love the shade name “Bang Bang” as it refers to the color of the blood and I find it catchy. The packaging looks elegant because of its black and silver design with the brand name in pink color. There is a sneak portion where you can see the shade without opening its cap. I love that the cap shuts firmly to secure the lip product.  It has a sweet smell like a candy which I’m liking but eventually vanishes once it set on the lips.

Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick in Bang Bang

Bang Bang is a gorgeous dark red with cool undertone which is perfect for all skin tones.

It has a creamy texture since it has Shea Butter content. It tugs my lips though during the application. Since its a dark red shade, I suggest using a red lip liner first so you can shape your lips easily. The shade is very pigmented and could give a vibrant swatch with just one swipe.

On the side note, it makes my lips a bit drying after a few minutes. You may opt to apply a lip balm before or after to keep your lips moisturized.

Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick has a good lasting power as my inner lips faded after I had 2 meals. The outer lips are still vibrant and do not need touch ups. I just need to dab a few amounts of the product on my inner lips to compensate the faded part. However, since it has a creamy matter finish be careful as the product may transfer on your fingers (if you accidentally touch your lips) or to the rim of your glass of water. So you might want to check your lips from time to time.

This can be removed with water but I suggest to use a makeup remover to save more time. 🙂

Easy to apply
Long lasting
Smells good

A bit drying on lips
It does transfers

Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick retails at 349Php which is perfect for makeup lovers in a budget.

Nice shade for a lippie! I like matte lipsticks but not the ones that dries up to much it cracks. I never heard of pink sugar yet but it looks great for a lippie, affordable sya huh..

  6. Cheryl F

This is a great shade. I love matte lipstick although some of them will dry your lips. I make sure though to apply lip moisturizer first before putting a lippie.

Why does make up sometime look like a dreamy version of food?

Oooh, another Pink Sugar review. Love it! 🙂 I'm not much of a red lipstick fan but that shade looks great on you.

  9. Mastermom Speaks

Me naman I like the Desire shade. But yes you are right, it's really drying kaya I always put lip balm muna before applying.

I saw this on landmark and was a bit hesitant if this was good, but upon reading your review I think I might consider to buy this lip product! 😀
