Eyebrow powder serves as my go-to eyebrow make up for years now because I find it easier to use than eyebrow pencil. My eyebrow powder (In2it, BYS) also has 3 shades to choose from the lightest to darkest that I can use depends on my mood. I did tried an eyebrow pencil once but did not like the outcome (no blending skills that time yet) so I resorted to eyebrow powder and become my brow-friend since then.
I did not consider using an eyebrow pencil not until I saw The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil during Noel Bazaar which they are selling for a discounted price (can‘t remember the exact price though, less 200Php/$4 I think). So after debating with myself whether to buy it or not, more on wanting me to try it again, it ended up in my shopping cart. 🙂
The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil is a retractable dual ended eyebrow pen with a built-in spooley. I love that it is very handy and travel friendly. With my eyebrow powder, I have to bring my Marionnaud dual ended eyebrow brush separately.
I got the shade Brown to suit my current hair color. The pencil is soft enough not to tug my skin during application. It is also pigmented where one stroke can give you a strong look but don‘t you worry, the spooley will blend everything to make it looks natural.
Sharing these 3 steps on how I groom my brows using The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil:
1. Use the pencil to outline your desired eyebrow shape.
2. Fill in the sparse area.
3. Use the built-in spooley to blend and to create a natural brow look.
Given that I have super oily skin, this can lasts for 4-6 hours without fading. Amazing right?
I‘ve been using this for a month now and I am loving it! I’m so glad I gave this another try. It made my eyebrow grooming easier and shorter in time.
Will I repurchase it? Definitely!
