Good Thursday dearies! One day to go before my most awaited (as always haha) weekend. So today I’m sharing you another food / restaurant review before we end this week.
We stumbled upon this tropical themed restaurant at SM North Edsa while we are looking for a place to eat after shopping. The L & L Hawaiian BBQ recently opened their 2nd branch (the first one is in Shangri-la) last October this year. This was originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and put up a branch here in the Philippines founded by a Filipino owner.

The place is inviting. This is (almost) exactly what an eatery looks like in Boracay! Add the “Buffalo Soldier” playing in the background. Wear your bikinis, shades and beach huts to complete the summer vibe!
They have a variety of American and Japanese cuisine like BBQ Chicken and Chicken Katsu. They also serve in combination plates like Seafood Combo and BBQ Mix. We opted to try their best sellers; the BBQ Chicken and Chicken Katsu.
I love the pail idea!

This chicken barbecue is a bomb! It is a chicken fillet (I think) and marinated with a sweet blend barbecue sauce. Not too sweet not too blunt.
They have HUGE servings that we weren’t able to finished it! Two to three persons (or even more) can share in one meal. Take note that each meal costs below 200Php. Meal comes with a macaroni salad as side dish.
Some of their wall displays. Now, I want to go to Hawaii! Or since we have no budget, Boracay will do! 🙂
We went home with our stomachs full. Aside from the unique tropical vibe, affordable yet huge servings and good food, they also have superb costumer service! Awww, before I forgot, the only downside is that they do not have a HIGH CHAIR for babies/toddlers. Good thing, we brought our stroller that day so its still fine with us. 🙂
Will definitely come back to try Smoked Kalua Pork and Seafood Combo!
L & L Hawaiian BBQ is located at Upper Ground Flr. The Annex, SM North Edsa, Quezon City.

First time to hear about this place. That spam and rice combination and making it look like a sushi is interesting. I might try doing it at home too 🙂 ~Pearliza Paguio
Wow! Super ganda ng place, I will love to go to this place kasi IG worth siya super! Hahaha! The food seems so delicious too!
The price is very affordable for the serving! And I'm glad they have the spam musubi! I was reading the blog and was hoping that they have it on menu. 🙂 The interiors look amazing. Do you have Pinterest? You definitely need to make a list of your finds because I'd love to repin and save them.
I might have to try this and keep it in mind when I go to SM North. On what floor was it?
Thanks for sharing your discovery!

Me and the husband loves food. Although Sm North seems too far from us (South babies, eh) I love their Pale idea too. I'm sure my daughter would love the place too. Hopefully we could get to try out there too one day when we are somewhere north!.
