Celeteque Acne-Clearing Concealer Review

Just recently I started using a concealer but not on a daily basis. I prefer my make up still looks natural and not totally made up so I just used my Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous or the Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion alone most of the time. However, there are times that I’m reaching out a concealer if I have something to hide on my face like a painful red bump aka cystic pimple.
I stumbled upon this product from my September BDJ Elite Box (see my unboxing HERE). I was excited to try it because it is a concealer and a spot treatment in one! Who wouldn’t love that? It is basically a concealer that can hide and treats your pimple at the same time. What a brilliant idea Celeteque!

Full product
CÉLETEQUE DermoScience™ Acne Solutions Acne-Clearing Concealer covers blemishes while actively helping to treat acne. Salicylic Acid helps treatment by exfoliating dead skin cells from within the skin follicle, opening clogged pores and preventing re-clogging by getting rid of dead skin and reducing the size of the pore. Camellia sinensis extract is an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and an anti-bacterial that helps keep skin healthy and blemish-free. The beige tint makes for seamless concealment of blemishes. With its pen format, even the smallest blemishes are no problem.
This comes in 250mg and has a pen-like tip that makes the application easy and precised. I believe they only have one shade as of this writing. I do hope they come up with more shades to accommodate other skin shades.

Left – One swipe, Right: Two swipes
It has a soft and creamy formulation so it won’t irritate your pimple. However, this only gives you light to medium coverage, so use your trusted face powder for extra coverage. I used this for a week and I noticed that it helped somehow to “ripen” few of my bumps.
On the side note, it only lasts for 3 to 4 hours (given my oily skin) and needs to retouch.
Pros:
1. It acts as a concealer and spot treatment in one
2. Very handy
3. I love the simple packaging
4. Affordable
5. Helps to ripen pimples
Cons:
1. Only one shade is available
2. Not long lasting
Celeteque Acne-Clearing Concealer retails at 269Php and available in all leading department stores nationwide.

  1. I've been looking for a concealer but they're so expensive. It's a pleasant surprise to find out that Celeteque has one and at a reasonable price. I hope the shade they have goes with my skin tone!
