Taking Gifting to the Next Level

Time flies so fast! And in no less than three months, come the most wonderful time of year! So who’s excited? Raise your hand! 🙂

I’m super excited because this will be our first Christmas with our son Cloud and we are expecting tons of gifts from his ninong and ninang lols. Calling Cloud’s ninong and ninang! You better get ready! Expect us at your doorstep on Christmas Day!

So what’s my Christmas wish list?

Aside from make up *grin*, I personally would love to have a new laptop, since I became active in blogging few months ago and I wanted to pursue this so-called career, I wanted a laptop that would cater my basic needs as a blogger. Lightweight but has an optimum performance. So I am thinking between Macbook or Lenovo which of them best suits my requirements.

Macbook

Lenovo Ideapad 100

The hubby is not a materialistic one but I know what’s make him excited. A LEGO collection! I gave him the Captain America vs Hydra as Christmas present last year and I’m glad that he loved it. For sure another LEGO Marvel Edition would make him giddy for the second time around. He will have now a bigger LEGO collection. Little did I know that having a LEGO collection is a great investment too!

For our son Cloud, it is usual for us to give him stuffs since we always buy him toys or books everytime we visit the mall. And for sure, we will be receiving toys and clothes from his godparents and relatives. So for this Christmas, we will bring him to Dream Play at City of Dreams.

I have this circle of friends from a forum – Bobongbooks.com wherein we visit this orphanage named Tahanan ng Pagmamahal in Quezon City. They are a non-profit organization. My friends usually go there to bring food and stuffs and of course, to spend time with the kids. I joined them twice – year 2009 and 2012 and this brought me such a wonderful feeling knowing I made someone happy on my own little ways. You don’t have to be a rich person where you can just share a little part of yourself. For these kids, time is the most valuable thing we could share to them. Given the chance, I wanted to join them again and meet the kids for the third time. Maybe I could bring my little family to meet them too!

My bobongbooks friends 🙂

Here are us on our last 2012 visit at Tahanan ng Pagmamahal. We are not allowed to post the kid’s photos for privacy reason so I am sharing you our photo instead. Did you know that we’ve been friends for more than 10years now?  We met in the forum when we are still students and few of us now have their own family. Time flies so fast! To more years of friendship guys! 🙂

This Christmas season, SM and in partner with Toy Kingdom is having a GIVE A BEAR OF JOY TODAY campaign. For just Php200, you get to keep one bear and donate the other to children from various orphanages and charitable institutions through the SM Cares Program. Imagine if you share this to your friends and take part on this campaign, thousands or even millions of kids will receive their “Bear of Joy” this Christmas season! Count me in SM!
