If you are a busy person like me that you cannot pay a regular visit to your facial salons, this konjac sponge could make a big difference in your cleansing regimen. As you know, I have acne-prone skin and washing with just facial wash is not enough to thoroughly cleanse my face since I wear makeup almost every day. I need something beyond what most of the facial wash/scrubs could offer.
WHAT IS KONJAC?
The Konjac Potato or Konnyaku is a perennial plant native to Asia, and can be found growing wild at very high altitudes. I find these a bit expensive to the usual one I bought also from them worth 500php. It just so happened that they do not have stock on what I’m looking for and offered this Doll Face. The black one (Natural Konjac with Bamboo Charcoal) is for me and the white one (Natural Konjac) is for hubby.

Get ready to glow… here’s what to do:Use daily as cleaning booster. Before each use, rinse under warm water. For the ultimate cleansing treatment, use together with Doll Face Invigorate Triple-Action Facial Cleanser. Squeeze cleanser onto the sponge and using small circular motions clean your entire face and neck. Rinse with warm, then cool water.
Apply you favorite Doll Face moisturizer. Your skin will look smooth, clean and refreshed with a sparkling radiant glow!
Before use, you need to soak it under warm water until it gets soft and puffy.
Simply use the flat side in a circular motion around your face and neck to exfoliate and remove the dirt. This circular massaging will stimulate tired skin and encourage skin renewal.
Instead of using it with a facial wash, I used it after I rinse my current facial wash – Ponds Acne Clear White. In that way, my face will thoroughly cleansed and no trace of excess facial wash.
The lifespan of these sponges is not more than 3 months and depends on how you take care of it. Make sure you rinse it well and completely dry it out each uses and that your sponge is never wrung out – always press between your hands to remove excess water during use, you will give your sponge a longer life.
Once your sponge breaking apart, its time for a new one.
